This interesting building was built in 1869 -1892 by Leonce Reynaud and Sydney Dunnett. Its interesting front elevation is the old facade of Gare Du Nord from Paris which has been dismantled and reassembled in the end of XIX-th century.
The station is a main and definitely the most charming station of Lille.
